Behavior Technician
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a behavioral technician, you will provide intensive 1:1 instruction to young children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and developmentally delayed children using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) teaching tactics. Utilizing naturalistic settings and DTT ABA techniques, therapists teach communication, imitation, motor, self-regulation, and other skills from the child's service goals to help children grow. We are accepting resumes for individuals who have their Registered Behavior Technician certificate and those who are willing to complete the RBT requirements within 90 days of hire. We will provide paid training to obtain certification, as well as company issued tablets to conduct data.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Passion for working with children with developmental disabilities
-
Experience working 1:1 with children and/or in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis
-
Natural ease working with individuals (Ages 2-21)
-
Professional attitude
-
Motivated to grow in this field
-
Must be able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
-
Current RBT certification is a plus
-
Must be able to receive detailed information through oral and written communication
-
Experience with Central Reach is a plus
-
Must be flexible, creative, and demonstrate strong organizational skills
-
Must be highly motivated and self-directed
-
Must have a valid drivers license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation

Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
-
CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
* 12 semester college hours in psychology, behavioral sciences, education, or related fields preferred. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
